... Winter Storm Watch in effect from this evening through Friday
morning...

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Winter
Storm Watch, which is in effect from this evening through Friday
morning.

* Timing... snow will develop Wednesday night, with periods of snow
expected through Friday morning. The heaviest snowfall should
occur between the predawn hours Thursday and early Thursday
afternoon.

* Snowfall accumulation... 8 to 12 inches near Powder River Pass
and over the southern end of the mountains. 4 to 6 inches in the
lower elevations.

* Main impact... roads may become slick and snow covered. Gusty
north winds could cause blowing and drifting snow Thursday. The
visibility may become significantly reduced in blowing snow.
