Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 12:49 PM CST Jan. 21, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory in effect until noon CST Sunday...

The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a dense fog
advisory... which is in effect until noon CST Sunday.

* Visibilities for most of the time will be around a quarter of
a mile or less. Also... visibilities at times will be down to a
few hundred feet.

* Road temperatures late tonight will hover around the freezing
mark. The dense fog may deposit a thin layer of ice on untreated
pavement surfaces, resulting in slippery conditions for pedestrians
and motorists.

* Poor visibilities will result in hazardous driving conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your low beam headlights... and keep a safe distance from
other vehicles.
