Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 2:07 PM CST Dec. 7, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 3 am Thursday to 6 am
CST Friday...

The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow which is in effect
from 3 am Thursday to 6 am CST Friday.

* Scattered snow showers and flurries are expected through
tonight. Periods of snow showers... moderate to heavy at
times... will develop Thursday and continue into Thursday night.

* Total snow accumulation will range from 3 to 6 inches across
northern Oneida County to less than 3 inches elsewhere. The
heaviest snowfall is expected to occur during the day on
Thursday.

* Blustery northwest winds will produce some blowing and
drifting of the fluffy type of snow.

* Impacts... the snow and blowing snow will lead to difficult
travel conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
visibilities will be limited due to a combination of falling and
blowing snow. Use caution when traveling... especially in open
areas. The latest Wisconsin Road conditions can be obtained by
calling 511.
