... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am CST
Saturday...

* a wintry mix of freezing drizzle and snow will gradually
transition to all snow after midnight. The snow is expected to
linger through Saturday morning before diminishing.

* Additional snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches is expected.
Minor icing is possible as well.

* Hazardous travel is expected through tonight. The combination
of snow and blustery north to northwest winds will create some
blowing and drifting of the snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow or freezing
drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

... Hazardous driving conditions expected tonight...

A mix of freezing drizzle and light snow will continue to fall
across portions of northeast and east-central Wisconsin tonight.
The freezing drizzle will slowly changeover to all snow from west
to east tonight. Despite the changeover later tonight, snowfall on
icy roadways will make area roadways even more slippery. These
icy roadways will make traveling tonight hazardous, especially on
secondary and untreated roadways. Motorists are urged to travel
with caution and allow extra time to reach your destination
tonight.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the area tonight.
