The Flood Warning continues for
the Wolf River near Shiocton.
* At 7:30 am Saturday the stage was 12.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river is expected to continue to slowly fall this
weekend and fall below flood stage by Tuesday morning.
* Impacts at 12.5 feet. There is widespread lowland flooding. Water
is surrounding structures along the river Near Island and Mill
Street.

... Thunderstorms moving toward the Fox cities...

At 758 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of thunderstorms
near Waupaca, moving east at 30 mph.

Pea size hail and winds gusts to 35 mph will be possible with a
few of the storms.

Locations impacted include...
Appleton, Waupaca, Menasha, Kaukauna, Little Chute, Kimberly,
Chilton, Brillion, Fremont and possibly the northern portion of the
Oshkosh vicinity.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
