... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am CST
Saturday...

* a wintry mix of drizzle, freezing drizzle and snow will
gradually transition to all snow this evening. The snow is
expected to linger through Saturday morning before diminishing.

* Additional snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches is expected. Minor
icing is possible as well.

* Hazardous travel is expected through tonight. The combination of
snow and blustery north to northwest winds will create some
blowing and drifting of the snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow or freezing
drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving. The
latest Wisconsin Road conditions can be obtained by calling 511.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Wolf River near Shiocton.
* At 7:30 am Friday the stage was 10.7 feet and slowly rising.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river is expected to rise near flood stage Sunday
morning.
* At 12.0 feet... flooding is confined to lowland and agricultural
land. The entire boat Landing in Shiocton is under several feet of
floodwaters. Water is surrounding lowland areas around homes on
Mill Street and island street .

... Hazardous driving conditions during the evening commute...

A mix of freezing drizzle and light snow is currently falling
across much of northeast Wisconsin late this afternoon. The
freezing drizzle is starting to accumulate on elevated surfaces
and area roadways. This icy accumulation will make the evening
commute hazardous, especially on secondary and untreated roadways.
These roadways will be slippery, travel with caution and allow
extra time to reach your destination this evening.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for these areas
tonight.
