Flood Warning
Issued: 5:11 AM CDT Jul. 25, 2017 – National Weather Service

The Flood Warning continues for
the Baraboo river near Baraboo.
* At 3:00 am Tuesday the stage was 19.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 20.0 feet by this
morning. The river will fall below flood stage Thursday before
midnight.
* Impact... at 20.8 feet... floodwaters affect a trailer rental
business and a Road Wayside Park about 5 miles downstream near the
Highway 33 bridge. Floodwaters also affect an auto auction business
near Highway I-94. This level is the 20 percent chance flood
meaning that there is a 20 percent chance in any given year of the
river reaching this level.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Baraboo river at Rock Springs.
* At 4:45 am Tuesday the stage was 20.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Impact... at 21.0 feet... floodwaters are about 2 feet deep in the
baseball Diamond in fireman's park along Highway dd. Water is over
portions of highways dd, 154 and 136 in Rock Springs.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Baraboo river at Reedsburg.
* At 8:00 am Monday the stage was 15.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Impact... at 15.0 feet... floodwaters affect Granite Avenue and south
Webb Avenue along the river. There is general inundation of lowland
in the Reedsburg area. The walking path in Webb Park and Smith
conservancy is covered with water. The public works yard is under
12-18 inches of water.
