... Wind Advisory remains in effect from 9 am to 6 PM PST
Tuesday...

* wind... increasing from the southeast at 20 to 35 mph with
gusts near 45 mph.

* Some affected locations... San Juan Island, Whidbey Island, and
Port Townsend.

* Timing... winds will pick up about midmorning Tuesday and then
peak during the early afternoon. Expect the winds to diminish
into the 15 to 25 mph range by late Tuesday afternoon.

* Impacts... winds this strong can snap small tree branches and
cause brief power outages.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 30 to 39 mph and/or gusts of
45 to 57 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving
difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra
caution.
