Small Craft Advisory
Issued: 3:43 AM EST Jan. 22, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Small Craft Advisory in effect from 1 am to 1 PM EST Monday...
... Dense fog advisory will expire at 4 am EST early this
morning...

The National Weather Service in Wakefield has issued a Small
Craft Advisory... which is in effect from 1 am to 1 PM EST Monday.

* Winds... northeast 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt later
tonight through Monday morning.

* Waves... 3 to 5 feet later tonight through midday Monday.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Small Craft Advisory means wind speeds of 20 to 33 knots and/or
waves of 4 feet or greater over the Chesapeake Bay are expected to
produce hazardous boating conditions to small craft. Inexperienced
mariners... especially those operating smaller vessels... should
avoid navigating in these conditions.

Mariners should pay close attention to the marine forecast... and
consider wind and sea conditions in planning.
