... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 4 am EST Friday...

* what... freezing rain through late this evening. Precipitation
will end as a period of snow overnight. Additional ice
accumulation around one tenth of an inch, and additional snow
accumulation of a coating to around one inch for most areas,
but 2 to 4 inches along and west of the Allegheny Front.

* Where... portions of central, north central, northern and
western Maryland, northern, northwest and western Virginia and
eastern and Panhandle West Virginia.

* When... until 4 am EST Friday.

* Additional details... northwest winds overnight will average 20
to 35 mph with gusts around 50 mph along the ridge tops above
2500 feet. The strong winds combined with snow and ice may cause
downed trees and power outages. Elsewhere, plan on slippery Road
conditions.

to 9 am EST Friday.

* Winds... for elevations above 2500 feet, northwest 20 to 35 mph
with gusts around 50 mph.

* Impacts... gusty winds along with snow and ice may cause downed
trees and power outages. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured
objects.
