Fire Weather Warning
Issued: 3:27 AM MDT Jun. 21, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Red flag warning remains in effect from noon today to midnight
MDT Friday night for wind and low relative humidity for fire
weather zones 482 and 484 below 7000 feet...

* affected area... fire weather zone 482 western Uintah basin
below 7000 feet and fire weather zone 484 tavaputs plateau
below 7000 feet.

* Winds... southwest gusts around 25 mph Thursday, becoming
northwest Thursday evening into Friday.

* Relative humidity... 7 to 11 percent Thursday afternoon, 8 to 14
percent Friday afternoon.

* Impacts... any fires that develop will have the potential to
spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. Isolated
thunderstorms are also possible Thursday afternoon.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now... or are imminent. A combination of
strong winds... low relative humidity... and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
