... A Flood Warning remains in effect until 145 PM MDT Wednesday for
central Duchesne County...
* significant snowmelt runoff has brought several waterways to near
or above flood stage. The Duchesne river has exceeded flood stage
around Myton, and remains elevated from Hanna downstream through
Tabiona and Duchesne to Myton.
* The latest stage on the Duchesne river near Myton is 9.17 feet
(4730 cfs) as of 200 PM MDT Monday. Flood stage is 8.4 feet (3446
cfs). The river is forecast to remain above flood stage through at
least June 19th.
* The latest stage on the Duchesne river near Tabiona is 4.63 feet
(1249 cfs) at 200 PM MDT Monday. Flood stage is 5.6 feet (2410
cfs). The river is expected to peak near flood stage during the
first half of the week.
* Lowland areas along the Duchesne river from Hanna downstream to
near Myton as well as upstream roads, bridges, and infrastructure
will be impacted by flood waters.
A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
