... Strong thunderstorms across southeastern Wharton... Montgomery...
Fort Bend... southern San Jacinto... central Brazoria... northwestern
Liberty... north central Matagorda... southwestern Polk... southeastern
Walker and Harris counties through 1030 am CDT...

At 941 am CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Panorama Village to near WillowBrook to
Pleak to near Bay City. Movement was east at 45 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms. Funnel clouds and gusty winds are also possible with
this line of storms.

Locations impacted include...
northwestern Pasadena, Pearland, Sugar Land, Missouri City, Conroe,
Rosenberg, Northwestern Lake Jackson, Alvin, Angleton, Stafford, Bay
City, South Houston, Bellaire, Humble, West University Place,
Richmond, Galena Park, Tomball, Jacinto City and Cleveland.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
