Issued: 9:47 PM CDT Jun. 21, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 5 am CDT Friday...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* a portion of deep south Texas, including the following areas,
Brooks, coastal Cameron, coastal Kenedy, coastal Willacy,
inland Cameron, inland Kenedy, inland Willacy, Jim Hogg,
northern Hidalgo, southern Hidalgo, Starr, and Zapata.

flash flooding. Any additional rainfall that falls over already
saturated or flooded locations will quickly worsen any flooding

flooding with water depth of several feet. Locations that have
seen the heaviest rainfall could quickly see a return to life-
threatening flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
