... Wind Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM CST this evening...

* timing... through early Sunday evening.

* Winds... sustained 25 to 30 mph gusting to 40 mph overnight
then becoming stronger Sunday morning through the afternoon
with gusts to 45 mph.

* Impacts... driving high profile vehicles may be difficult. High
winds could displace loose objects and could result in minor
property damage.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35-40 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Fire Weather Warning
Issued: 6:26 AM CST Jan. 22, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Red flag warning remains in effect until 6 PM CST this evening
for gusty west to northwest winds and low humidities...

* affected area... all of south central Texas.

* Wind... west to northwest 25 to 30 mph with gusts near 45 mph.

* Humidity... minimum afternoon humidity ranging from 15 to 35

* impacts... any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now... .or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds... low relative humidity... and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
