The National Weather Service in Lubbock has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from 10 am this morning to 6 am CST
* Timing... from late morning through early Sunday morning. A brief
lull in winds may occur early this evening before winds
* Winds... sustained at 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 50 mph. The
winds will be southwesterly to westerly today before turning
northwesterly late tonight.
* Impacts... driving will be difficult... particularly for high
profile vehicles. Patchy blowing dust will also be possible.
A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 to 39 mph are
expected. Adjust travel and outdoor activities accordingly.
