... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Thursday morning
through Friday morning...
* timing... snow will begin early Thursday morning and continue
into Thursday night. Snow will taper off from west to east
late Thursday night into Friday morning.
* Main impact... snowfall amounts of around 6 inches are possible
across much of the Black Hills and the west central South
Dakota plains, with snowfall amounts to around a foot likely
across south central South Dakota.
* Other impacts... slippery and hazardous Road conditions will be
possible. Travel may be difficult at times. Some areas of
blowing snow are possible across the plains Thursday afternoon

precipitation... and cold temperatures are possible. Monitor NOAA
