... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 am EST
Tuesday...

* locations... portions of the southern Poconos and far
northwestern New Jersey.

* Hazard types... freezing rain, sleet and some snow.

* Snow and sleet accumulations... 1 to 3 inches with the highest
amounts above 1000 feet in elevations.

* Ice accumulations... up to one tenth of an inch especially in the
higher elevations.

* Timing... freezing rain and sleet will continue across mostly the
higher elevations through the overnight. Snow will mix in with
at times as precipitation becomes heavier, however the
precipitation may change to all sleet or snow at times through
tonight. The wintry mix is then expected to begin to taper off
Tuesday morning, but sleet or snow may linger into the
afternoon.

* Impacts... snow and ice accumulations will create treacherous
driving conditions and possibly result in some power outages.
Bridges and overpasses tend to be more icy.

* Winds... northeast to north 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* Temperatures... in the lower 30s especially in the higher
elevations.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet...
and freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
