Special Statement
Issued: 2:19 PM PDT May. 21, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Hot weather continues Monday...

Temperatures will warm into the upper 80s to low 90s on Monday,
which is much warmer than the temperatures typical for may.
People may be tempted to cool off in rivers, but they are very
cold and swift-moving and especially dangerous. If you decide to
hang out by rivers or lakes to take a break from the heat, please
wear a life-jacket and be extra cautious as hot weather and cold
water can be deadly.

Also be mindful of protecting your skin with sun screen, your body
by hydrating, and never leave children or pets unattended in
vehicles.
