... Wind Advisory remains in effect from 10 PM this evening to
10 PM PST Wednesday...

* winds... southeast 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 50 mph.

* Timing... strong winds will develop near Ashland this evening and
then expand into the Medford area Wednesday morning. Winds will
peak all areas late Wednesday morning... then diminish.

* Locations in the Wind Advisory include... Medford... Ashland...
Phoenix... Talent.

* Wind Advisory impacts... branches broken by recent heavy snowfall
may come down and cause injuries or property damage. Gusty
winds will make travel difficult for lightweight and high
profile vehicles. Loose outdoor objects or materials could be
blown about.

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected with
higher gusts possible. Winds this strong can make driving

* winds... south 10 to 20 kt increasing to 15 to 25 kt with gusts
up to 40 kt tonight. Winds will increase to 20 to 30 kt with
gust around 40 kt on Wednesday. Strongest winds will be near
Cape Mendocino and Point Saint George. Winds will diminish
Wednesday night.

* Waves/seas... seas 6 to 8 feet at 14 seconds building to 11 to
14 feet around 14 seconds tonight then around 15 feet at 13
seconds on Wednesday. Seas will build to 25 feet or higher
around 18 seconds on Friday.

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 21 to 33 knots
are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft.
