... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 10 PM PST this
evening...

* locations... Arlington... The Dalles... White Salmon.

* Snow accumulations... 5 to 10 inches west of US 97... with 3 to 6
inches east of US 97.

* Timing... snow will increase this afternoon... diminishing late
this evening. There is a slight chance of sleet and freezing
rain tonight and Friday.

* Impacts... area roadways will be snow covered and slick.
Driving on Interstate 84 and Highway 14 will be hazardous with
poor visibility and periods of moderate to heavy snow.
Localized blowing snow will also be possible.

* Winds... east 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.
