Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 8:46 PM PST Dec. 7, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect from 4 am Thursday to
4 am PST Saturday...

* snow amounts... 3 to 6 inches in the valleys and 6 to 12 inches
in the mountains. Locally higher amounts are possible in the
mountains.

* Snow levels... valley floors. Snow may mix with or change over to
rain at times below 3500 feet Friday afternoon and evening.

* Impacts... snow accumulation on roads will make driving
difficult... especially during the Thursday afternoon commute.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will primarily cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving. Travel in the mountains and backcountry is not
recommended without proper equipment and adequate provisions.
Remember that cell phone communication is limited by terrain.
