Issued: 1:31 PM PST Dec. 4, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 2 am to 2 PM
PST Monday for the western and central Columbia River gorge and
the Upper Hood River Valley...

The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 2 am to 2 PM
PST Monday.

* Timing... some light snow may develop late tonight... with the
main period of snow Monday morning and early Monday afternoon.

* Snow levels... lowering to 1000 feet tonight and close to river
level Monday.

* Accumulation... light amounts late tonight except possibly an
inch above 500 to 1000 feet late tonight... then 1 to 3 inches
Monday above 500 to 1000 feet Monday except up to an inch below
500 feet.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
