the Flood Warning continues for
the baron Fork river at Eldon.
* Until this evening, or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 1:30 am Sunday, the stage was 16.60 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the baron Fork river at Eldon is expected to rise above
flood stage early this morning and continue to rise to near 20.4
feet by this afternoon. The river is expected to fall below flood
stage late this afternoon.
* Impact... at 20.0 feet, moderate flooding occurs. Grazing lands near
the river become inundated. Low-lying areas near Camp Egan may
experience minor flooding.

the Flood Warning continues for
the Illinois River near Tahlequah.
* Until late Tuesday night, or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 1:00 am Sunday, the stage was 20.25 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the Illinois River near Tahlequah will continue rising
to near 29.3 feet Monday morning. The river is expected to fall
below flood stage Tuesday evening.
* Impact... at 29.0 feet, devastating flooding occurs along the
Illinois River from near Hanging Rock to the headwaters of lake
tenkiller. State Highway 10 is closed northeast of its intersection
with Highway 51. Many Cabins and Parks are severely flooded or are
totally isolated for an extended duration. This is a very dangerous
and life threatening situation. This will approach the record flood
of 30.7 feet in December 2015.

the Flood Warning continues for
the Illinois River at Chewey.
* Until late Monday night, or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 1:15 am Sunday, the stage was 21.05 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the Illinois River at Chewey will continue rising to
near 31.2 feet Monday before dawn. The river is expected to fall
below flood stage late Monday evening.
* Impact... at 31.0 feet, disastrous flooding occurs from near fidler's
Bend to near Hanging Rock. This will approach the flood of record
of 31.8 feet in December 2015. Water will affect roads and property
in a residential area immediately southwest of Chewey bridge. Most
roads near the river, including Highway 10, are impassible, and
areas are isolated for an extended duration. Many permanent
campgrounds and Cabins are overtopped, particularly in the fidler's
Bend area. This is an extremely dangerous and life threatening
situation.

Rogers County in northeastern Oklahoma...

* until 1115 am CDT Monday

* at 1120 PM CDT, scattered showers with locally heavy rainfall
continue across the warned area and will be ending during the
early morning hours on Sunday. Widespread rainfall amounts of 3
to 5 inches with local amounts near 8 inches of rain have fallen.
Several roadways have been reported closed due to the flooding and
many low water crossings are likely flooded. The high water will
be slow to recede.
