southeastern Hamilton County in southwestern Ohio...

* until 1100 am EDT.

* At 803 am EDT... radar and rain gauges indicated that heavy rain
had fallen across the warned area... with a large area of 2 to 4
inches. The heaviest rain has fallen in Anderson township in
southeast Hamilton County... where some gages have reported over 4
inches of rainfall this morning. The heavy rainfall has ended
across the area and therefore the Flash Flood Warning has been
allowed to expire. However... runoff from the earlier excessive
rain will result in continued flooding until the high water
recedes.

* At 516 am EDT... radar indicated that thunderstorms had produced
heavy rain across the warned area. Radar has estimated 1.5 to 2.25
inches of rainfall this morning across the warned area. Additional
rainfall of 1 to 1.5 inches is likely this morning. Runoff from
this excessive rainfall will cause flash flooding to occur.

northwestern Hamilton County in southwestern Ohio...

* until 945 am EDT.

* At 639 am EDT... radar indicated thunderstorms with heavy rain
across the advisory area. Radar has estimated up to 1.5 inches of
rain in the past hour. An additional half inch of rain is likely
this morning.

* Minor flooding of low lying and poorly drained streets... highways
and underpasses will occur. In addition... farmland near creeks...
streams and drainage ditches will experience minor flooding.

Some locations that will experience minor flooding include

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has expanded the

* Flash Flood Watch to include portions of southeast Indiana...
northern Kentucky and southwest Ohio... including the following
areas... in southeast Indiana... Dearborn... Ohio... Ripley and
Switzerland. In northern Kentucky... Boone... Campbell and
Kenton. In southwest Ohio... Clermont... Hamilton and Highland.

* Through Friday morning

* the ground within the watch area remains quite wet from recent
heavy rainfall over the past few days. Additional rounds of
showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain are likely through
early Friday morning which could lead to flash flooding.
Another 1 to 2 inches of rainfall will be possible with
locally higher amounts.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

People in the watch area should keep an eye on the weather and be
prepared for immediate action should heavy rains and flooding
occur or a Flash Flood Warning be issued. Avoid low-lying areas...
and be careful when approaching Highway dips and underpasses.
