Issued: 5:29 PM EDT Jul. 23, 2017 – National Weather Service

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* flood advisory for...
Hardin County in west central Ohio...

* until 730 PM EDT.

* At 528 PM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms with heavy rain rates
from 1 to 2 inches per hour moving slowly across the County.

* Minor flooding of low-lying and poorly drained streets, highways
and underpasses will occur. In addition, farmland near creeks,
streams and drainage ditches will experience minor flooding.

Some locations that will experience minor flooding include...
Kenton, Alger, Blanchard, Mount Victory, McGuffey, Grant, Silver
Creek, jumbo, Huntersville, Pfeiffer, Walton, Hepburn and Mentzer.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
