... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 7 PM this
evening to 7 PM EST Tuesday...

* locations... Jefferson County.

* Timing... from early this evening through early Tuesday evening.

* Hazards... snow and sleet.

* Accumulations... 3 to 5 inches tonight and 1 to 3 inches
Tuesday... leading to storm totals of 4 to 8 inches.

* Winds... northeast 5 to 15 mph.

* Visibilities... a mile at times.

* Impacts... wet snow and sleet will result in slushy and slick
travel conditions. The worst travel conditions are expected
Monday night into Tuesday morning... which will make for a
slick Tuesday morning commute.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory is normally issued for a variety of
winter weather conditions such as light snow... blowing snow...
sleet... freezing rain and wind chills. While the weather will be
