Flood Warning
Issued: 11:00 AM EDT Apr. 23, 2017 – National Weather Service

The Flood Warning continues for
the Cayuga Lake at Ithaca.
* Until further notice.
* At 9 am Sunday the stage was 383.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 383.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 383.8 feet by 2 PM Sunday.
Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* Forecast... the river will crest near 383.8 feet around 2 PM Sunday, then begin
falling.
* Impact... at 384.0 feet... flooding is likely along the south end of the lake,
impacting Parks such as Stewart Park and Allan h. Treman State Park. More of
Route 13 in the southwestern district will be impacted including isolating the
Titus towers area. About 15 houses near the Lakeshore in the
Ulysses-Trumansburg area and the Lansing area will flood.
