... Dense fog advisory in effect from 7 PM this evening to 9 am
EST Thursday...

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a dense fog
advisory... which is in effect from 7 PM this evening to 9 am EST
Thursday.

* Locations... areas northeast of Lake Erie and south of Lake
Ontario and from about the thruway north.

* Timing... from early this evening through late Thursday morning.

* Visibilities... as low as a quarter mile at times.

* Impacts... hazardous driving conditions due to low visibilities.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory is issued when dense fog will substantially
reduce visibilities, resulting in hazardous driving conditions in
some areas. Motorists are advised to use caution and slow down,
as objects on and near roadways will be seen only at close range.
