... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 5 PM Friday to 5 PM PDT
Saturday above 7000 feet...

The National Weather Service in Elko has issued a Winter Weather
Advisory above 7000 feet for snow which is in effect from 5 PM
Friday to 5 PM PDT Saturday.

* Snow accumulations... 5 to 9 inches.

* Elevation: above 7000 feet.

* Timing... snowfall should start Friday evening with the heaviest
snowfall starting late Friday evening before tapering off
late Saturday afternoon.

* Winds... southwesterly at 15 to 30 mph.

* Impacts... the snow will make mountain roads and passes slick and
hazardous posing a danger to traffic.
