... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 5 am MST early
this morning...

* what... heavy snow. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 6 inches.
The heaviest accumulations will be in the foothills.

* Where... middle Rio Grande Valley including the Albuquerque
Metro area.

* When... until 5 am MST Saturday.

* Additional details... plan on very slippery and hazardous Road
conditions. Road conditions will deteriorate quickly overnight
as temperatures fall into the 20s.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.
