* at 303 am EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Woodstown to near Millville to Dividing Creek,
moving northeast at 40 mph.

Hazard... 60 mph wind gusts.

Impact... expect damage to trees and power lines.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

In addition to damaging winds... frequent cloud to ground lightning
is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.
Remember... if you can hear thunder... you are close enough to be
struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
northwestern Atlantic County in southern New Jersey...
northwestern Cumberland County in southern New Jersey...
Salem County in southern New Jersey...
southern Camden County in southern New Jersey...
Gloucester County in southern New Jersey...

* until 615 am EDT

* at 246 am EDT... Doppler radar indicated a last band of
thunderstorms producing very heavy rain moving across the warned
area. Widespread one to three inches of rain has already fallen
with isolated 4 inch amounts. An additional one half to 1.5 inches
will occur by 4 am. Flash flooding is already occurring or will
occur by 4 am, even after the rain tends to let up or quit.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Vineland, Glassboro, Hammonton, Pennsville, Pitman, Clayton,
Carneys Point, Berlin, Salem, Buena, Woodstown, Alloway, Quinton,
Chesilhurst, Newfield, Elmer, Franklinville, Sicklerville, Hancocks
Bridge and Atco.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.

... The flood advisory remains in effect until 545 am EDT for north
central Atlantic... Ocean... central Camden... Burlington and
southeastern Monmouth counties...

At 254 am EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms will cross this advisory area between now and 5 am.
It will deposit one half to 1.5 inches. This will cause minor
flooding in the advisory area.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Toms River, Lakewood, Cherry Hill, Jackson, Evesham, Mount Laurel,
Voorhees, Medford, Barnegat, Lindenwold, Hammonton, Lumberton,
Beachwood, Mount Holly, Berlin, Tabernacle, Shamong, Manasquan, Point
Pleasant Beach and Tuckerton.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

of heavy showers and thunderstorms. This will cause minor
flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will result in minor
flooding in the advisory area.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Vineland, Atlantic City, Millville, Bridgeton, Ocean City,
Cumberland, Pleasantville, Somers Point, Ventnor City, Brigantine,
Northfield, Absecon, Margate City, Buena, Egg Harbor City, Laurel
