The National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
southern Colfax County in northeastern Nebraska...
Butler County in east central Nebraska...
northwestern Saunders County in east central Nebraska...

* until 330 PM CDT

* at 1236 PM CDT, flooding continued across the warned area from
very heavy rain that occurred overnight into this morning. Law
enforcement reported that numerous County roads remain flooded.
Precipitation has come to an end and most flood waters are
receding, but some flooding will persist through the afternoon.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Schuyler, David City, Bellwood, Rising City, Brainard, Prague,
Dwight, Ulysses, Morse Bluff, Octavia, Bruno, Rogers, Linwood,
Richland, Abie, Garrison, and surprise.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
