Watches & Warnings

Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 7:12 PM CST Jan. 19, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory now in effect until 10 am CST Friday...

* visibility... 1/4 of a mile or less at times.

* Impacts... drivers are encouraged to slow down and allow extra
time to reach destinations.

* Uncertainty... fog should be rather widespread overnight... but
there is some uncertainty how long the dense fog will linger
into Friday morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
