... Flood Watch now in effect from 7 PM CDT /6 PM MDT/ this
evening through Wednesday morning...

The Flood Watch is now in effect for

* portions of north central Nebraska, Panhandle Nebraska, and
west central Nebraska, including the following areas, in north
central Nebraska, Blaine, Boyd, Brown, eastern Cherry,
Garfield, Holt, Keya Paha, Loup, rock, Thomas, western Cherry,
and Wheeler. In Panhandle Nebraska, Sheridan. In west central
Nebraska, Grant and Hooker.

* From 7 PM CDT /6 PM MDT/ this evening through Wednesday morning

* total rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches with locally higher
amounts possible.

* Additional heavy rainfall may cause roadways to wash out or
become impassable. Some creeks and rivers may flood.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
