The flood advisory continues for
the Missouri River near Blair.
* Until further notice.
* At 9:00 am Thursday the stage was 25.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 26.5 feet.
* Forecast... the river will slowly rise to near 26.4 feet by
Monday morning.

Excessive Heat Warning
Issued: 4:48 PM CDT Jul. 18, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Excessive heat warning remains in effect until 7 PM CDT
Saturday...

* heat index values... peaking in the 106 to 115 range today and
Friday, due to afternoon temperatures in the mid 90s to around
100 and dewpoints in the 70s. Saturday should be not quite as
hot, with heat index values peaking in the 100 to 108 degree
range.

* Impacts... dangerously high temperatures and humidity could
quickly cause heat stress or heat stroke if precautions are
not taken.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. When
possible, reschedule strenuous activities to the early morning or
later in the evening. Know the signs and symptoms of heat
exhaustion and heat stroke. Wear light weight and loose fitting
clothing when possible, and drink plenty of water.
