A strong Pacific cold front will cross the area tonight. Light
rain and light snow are possible across northern Nebraska, with
perhaps up to one inch of snow accumulation in the Pine Ridge
across northern Sheridan County. Elsewhere across northern
Nebraska any snow amounts should be very light. Temperatures will
drop into the upper 20s to around 30 degrees by Thursday morning.
Any wet surface from the spotty light precipitation could freeze,
creating slick conditions before temperatures warm above the
freezing mark later Thursday morning.

Strong northwest winds are expected across all of western and
north central Nebraska. Gusts of 40 mph can be expected for
several hours tonight into Thursday morning. Winds will begin to
diminish Thursday afternoon.
