... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Thursday evening
through Friday afternoon...
* timing... rain or a rain/snow mix on Thursday should change to
snow Thursday evening, with snow continuing through Friday.
* Main impact... snow accumulations of 8 to 12 inches are possible
from Thursday evening through Friday.
* Other impacts... gusty northeast to northwest winds may cause
blowing and drifting of snow, which would impact travel by
reducing visibilities and making roads harder to clear. The
winds, combined with wet and heavy snow, also could create a
risk of sporadic power outages.
A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow, sleet, or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
