The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a dense fog
advisory, which is in effect until 10 am CDT Tuesday.

* Visibility... one quarter mile or less.

* Impacts... hazardous travel due to reduced visibility.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

... Areas of dense fog over portions of northern North Dakota this
evening...

Areas of dense fog will continue to reduce visibility to below
one half mile at times through this evening over many portions of
northern North Dakota, which includes Highway 5 and many parts of
Highway 2. Motorists should remain aware for rapid changes in
visibility. Use extra caution at intersections, Railroad crossings
and truck entry points.
