... Heat advisory remains in effect from 11 am this morning to
8 PM EDT this evening...

* heat index values... up to 106 due to temperatures in the mid
90s... and dewpoints in the mid 70s.

* Temperatures... in the mid 90s.

* Timing... the highest heat index values will occur during the
late afternoon and early evening.

* Impacts... the combination of hot temperatures and high
humidity will create a situation in which heat illnesses are
possible.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

To reduce the risk of heat illness during outdoor work the
occupational safety and health administration recommends
scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned
environments.
