The National Weather Service in Raleigh has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 11 am this morning to 10 PM EDT
* Winds... south 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
* Timing... 11 am this morning through 10 PM tonight.
* Impacts... gusty southerly winds will blow around unsecured
objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and localized power
outages may result.
A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 to 40 mph or
wind gusts of 40 to 55 mph are expected. Winds of this magnitude
are capable of knocking down old or weakened trees and can make
driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
