... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 am MST this
morning for Bitterroot valley and Missoula...

Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 5:51 AM MST Jan. 23, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 11 am MST this morning for
Bitterroot valley and Missoula...

The National Weather Service in Missoula has issued a dense fog
advisory... which is in effect until 11 am MST this morning.

* Impacts/timing: dense fog has developed in the Missoula valley
and down through the Bitterroot valley this morning. Very low
visibilities and snow covered roads will create hazardous
driving conditions for the morning commute.

* Visibility: less than one quarter of a mile. Visibility
conditions are variable and change quickly along the highways.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
