... Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 6 PM MST Wednesday...

The National Weather Service in Great Falls has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for periods of snow... which is in effect until 6
PM MST Wednesday. The Winter Storm Watch is no longer in effect.

* Locations... Browning, Logan Pass, Marias Pass, and Cut Bank.

* Timing... an initial round of snow will briefly diminish late
this afternoon. More snow is then possible this evening... then
continue through the day Wednesday. A break in the snow is then
possible sometime Wednesday afternoon or evening. Snow could
then return Thursday... although confidence remains low to
moderate at this point.

* Snow accumulations... 6 to 9 inches.

* Winds... northwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* Temperatures... in the lower 20s.

* Impacts... visibility may be reduced to less than 1 mile at times
in falling snow. Roads may become snow-covered and slick. Risks
to Young livestock are possible.
