Issued: 9:33 PM CST Feb. 21, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory now in effect until 9 am CST Wednesday...

* visibility... areas of dense fog will develop tonight and reduce
visibility to near one quarter mile or less across
southwest... central and south central Missouri through early
Wednesday morning.

* Impacts... reductions in visibility will occur over short
distances. Areas of dense fog will impact travel on Highway 60,
Highway 65, Highway 13, and Highway 63 as well as Interstate 44.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance between your vehicle
and others ahead of you.
