Strong south winds will continue to blow around 30 mph, gusting to
55 mph at times. This is not associated with any strong
thunderstorm activity, but is expected to subside as storms over
Missouri drift away from the region. Drivers on west to east roads
will need to keep an extra firm grip on the wheel.
