... Pockets of dense fog early this morning...

Travelers this morning should be prepared to encounter pockets of
dense fog across south central and southeast Minnesota as well as
portions of west central Wisconsin.

The most concentrated area of dense fog stretched from Mankato
through Red Wing to Eau Claire, where visibilities were at or
below a quarter mile.

Motorists should slow down and allow a little extra travel time.
Use low beam headlights and be prepared for sudden reductions in
visibility. The fog will lift between 8 and 9 am this morning.
