* Moderate flooding is occurring and during the next 7 days...
moderate flooding is forecast.
* Moderate flood stage is 40.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue falling to near 45 feet by
Monday morning. The river will continue falling slowly through
next week.
* Impact statement(s) - at 45.0 feet, sorlie bridge/demers Ave is
closed. Top of the elevation of the low level levee protecting
Riverside Park.

weekend and into next week. Some variations are expected with
slowly falling river levels towards the end of next week.
* Impact statement(s) - at 37.5 feet, State Highway 1 overtops (mn
dot).

western Norman County in northwestern Minnesota...
western Polk County in northwestern Minnesota...

* until 300 PM CDT Monday.

* At 257 PM CDT, overland flooding continued due to both rain and
snowmelt.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Runoff will continue to cause flooding of small creeks and streams,
country roads, farmland, and other low lying spots.
