... Freezing Rain Advisory remains in effect until 2 am EST
Tuesday...

Hazardous weather...

* periods of freezing rain through this evening with
   temperatures at or just below 32 degrees.

* Occasional mix of snow and sleet remains possible late this
   afternoon... but little if any accumulation.

* Temperatures will rise above 32 degrees and remain above
   freezing shortly after midnight... allowing for a changeover
   to a cold rain.

Impacts...

* ice accumulation up to a tenth of an inch expected... mainly on
   elevated surfaces.

* Icy roads... mainly secondary and untreated roads.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or
freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.
Sidewalks and driveways will also be icy... use caution while
walking.

continue through 5 PM. While temperatures have warmed to around 32
degrees... some light glazing is still possible on elevated
surfaces including bridges... overpasses and ramps. An icy glaze is
also possible on untreated roads especially the secondary and
dirt roads.
