Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 2:15 PM EST Dec. 9, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect until noon EST Saturday...
... Winter Storm Warning is cancelled...

The National Weather Service in Gaylord has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory... which is in effect until noon EST Saturday.
The Winter Storm Warning has been cancelled.

* Expect fluffy lake effect snow showers to
continue... diminishing around noon Saturday.

* The heaviest snowfall rates will occur between 7 PM this evening
and 12 am Saturday.

* Additional fluffy snow accumulations of 2 to 6 inches are
expected... with isolated totals of 8 inches possible where snow
bands remain most persistent.

* Look for reduced visibilities at times.

* Plan on difficult driving conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for fluffy snow means periods of fluffy
snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for
snow covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution
while driving. For the latest Road conditions... go to the mdot
website at Michigan.Gov.
