... A Flood Warning remains in effect until 815 am EDT for Huron
County...

At 527 am EDT, Doppler radar indicated a peristent area of rainfall
containing isolated thunderstorms moving across the warned area.
Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have already fallen.

Additional rainfall amounts of up to an inch will be possible
through the mid morning.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Bad Axe, Sebewaing, Harbor Beach, Ubly, Port Hope, Pigeon, Elkton,
Kinde, Owendale, Verona, Helena, Redman, Parisville, White Rock,
Ivanhoe, Rapson, Bay Port, Pinnebog, Ruth and Filion.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
